Growing up in a village of 800 souls with a local restaurant, church, and grocery store, I became increasingly interested in unfamiliar environments and realities from an early age. Driven by the question of “relationships and social justice in the global North-South divide,” I travelled to various countries and cultures, where I had the opportunity to meet people from the whole world, whose encounters and perspectives I am still deeply grateful for today.
Thanks to the relationships I formed with these people, I was able to get to know myself better, sharpen my awareness of social matters and diversity, and, above all, constantly question my own background as a “privileged” white person.
I have been settling down in Vienna since 2012 and, after completing my master’s degree in “International Development,” I began to focus my career on development cooperation and international project management. During an organizational development process in 2017 in an international organization, my coach at the time sparked my interest in pursuing a career path of accompanying people through coaching and supervision on their professional journey, helping them develop their personalities, overcome challenges, and achieve their professional goals.
Since 2019, I have been certified as a systemic supervisor, coach, and organizational developer, and I support individuals, teams, and groups.
The systems in which we act and live influence our experiences and behavior. Once we change our behavior, it also affects those systems. Therefore, every person has a direct impact on their respective environment.
The systemic approach enables you to discover new perspectives, adopt attitudes that are still unknown to you, which contributes to a better understanding of yourself.
My role is to accompany you on your journey, to help you find clarity through an external perspective, and to reflect with you on what new solutions you—as expert on your own life—would like to develop for yourself. I am also pleased to provide you with images and metaphors to playfully evoke new insights.
My supervisory work is complemented by the focusing method. Focusing teaches my clients to feel, sense, and articulate their intuitions, inner processes, and physical perceptions more clearly. This contributes positively to their well-being, performance, and creativity in their professional and everyday lives.
In my encounters it’s crucial to create, a safe space of equality and mutual respect, which may challenge old perspectives and beliefs regarding origin and diversity,
In line with the slogan “Without the ‘Other’, the ‘Self’ cannot exist“ (Feuerbach), I keep on eye on group dynamic processes and socio-political developments during my coaching sessions.
